Chuck Earney has nearly 40 years in public accounting as a CPA with career emphasis in not-for-profit and governmental accounting. He has been an Assistant Professor of Accounting at UNCW since 1982 with planned retirement date of May 2010. His extensive professional experience with Homeowners Associations includes working in tax and accounting capacities with numerous HOAs including Landfall, Shell Island Resorts, Seapath Yacht Club and others. He is a former President of Plantation Village and Treasurer of Lower Cape Hospice. He believes that the most important attributes needed to be a good Board member are: objectivity and integrity without self interest or personal agenda. He believes in humility with an attitude of service to benefit of the overall organization. When asked to cite the three most important issues at this time, he answered: to maintain financial strength including a balanced budget and appropriately funded reserves; to maintain our facilities and grounds in move-in quality condition; and to appropriately respond to stuff that happens.

Ken Mickelson has over 22 years of management experience managing Supply Chain operations including management of Profit & Loss. He has over 12 years of experience as a sales executive selling to the highest levels of management. Currently, he is the Director of Business Development for Supply Chain, DI Central. As a volunteer, he is a former Chairman of the second largest Chamber of Commerce in the state of Georgia (DeKalb County) and a former Chairman of the International Business Park Association in Atlanta. He was also on the Executive Committee Board of the Greater Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He has been the recipient of many volunteer awards including the Volunteer of the Year Award DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, DeKalb County, GA; the National Community Involvement Award from Sony Electronics, Inc. and the Presidents Volunteer Award for the Hurricane Andrew Relief Effort from Sony Electronics, Inc. He believes that the most important attributes needed to be a good Board member are: common sense, an ability to communicate (to listen as well as speak) and an appreciation for prudent investment and return in every day life. When asked to cite the three most important issues at this time, he answered: prudent management of community funds, protecting TVAMs reputation as a special, upscale and respected residence, and managing security and risk.
